We have 10 digits in math to create numbers (& in language we have 26 letters to create words!)
For example...
8 has 1 digit. (Cat has 3 letters.)
34 has 2 digits. (August has 6 letters.)
56912 has 5 digits. (Instructions has 12 letters.)
